Sandworm. From Final Fantasy.

Illuminati!

Illuminati is everywhere. It is in our music, our economy, our politics, and even our homes. Illuminati is a group of individuals bound by similar bloodlines that all hold power in this world. Prominent Illuminati figures include: Jay Z, President Obama, Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, and maybe even you professor. There are 33 degrees of Illuminati with the 30th being the limit that humans are allowed to enter. I have already said too much. I will end here.

Noise canceling headphones

I recently bought a pair of noise canceling headphones. They're absolutely worth buying. They really improve sound quality by blocking out all the background noise. I think they'd be perfect for air travel, I'll use them on my flight to pairs in two weeks.

Before the performance

Before the performance began I took a picture to show how hard everyone was working. There were a lot of people in the front working really hard to get everything set up. Some people were tapping onto their laptop, others were downloading the Touch osc application on their smartphones and one guy was practicing playing his flute on stage. The actors were rehearsing their lines to make sure they were perfect before the performance began. I just wanted to take a picture to capture how hard everyone worked to put this performance together.

TouchOSC and VirtualDJ

So apparantly it's possible to control virtualDJ using a virtual midi interface and touchOSC. There was a video demonstrating how it worked with his own pure data save but it appears to behave differently for me. I had to change some of the osc modules in pure data because some were missing from the installation or obsolete. I managed to get about half of the controls to work properly such as effect intensity, pitch of each deck, bass, treble, and mid control. A lot of the controls that were demonstrated in the video didn't seem to work for me since some of the drivers and setup differed but it did partially work. Seems like it would be a little tedious to configure these controls, may have to play around with it more. I have no idea how I could configure using virtual DJ to cycle through different effects using a decrement/increment button. You don't get as much control as you would with programming by yourself in Max, but VirtualDJ seems to be a well built and optimized program for this.

Friend

I met her when I was at high school. We were close each other, and we had good times together. After graduation, she went abroad to America. Then, I decided to go to study abroad, too. At first, I was in Las Vegas, and she was in Delaware. We kept in touch on the phone in America. But now, she is in New York City and I’m in stonybrook. So we can meet each other in the city now! We didn’t imagine that we can meet each other in the US! We went to central park, moma, good restaurants, having a good time together in New York City. How cool it is!!! Enjoying the city life with my old fiend!!

Retrospectives And Aspirations: Part 1

Initially, when I switched into this class, I thought I'd be completely screwed when it came time to present my semester's efforts in the last week. I didn't have much of an idea of what to expect, and I thought I'd have to end up rushing some makeup work during the night before, get no sleep, and then end up feeling not too confident in my finished product, since...well, that's how it usually goes with my workload (college is great, lemme tell ya). Thus, I didn't hesitate to start learning the necessary programs for this class; some of them proved difficult based on software only available for certain operating systems, but I can thankfully ultimately say that I've learned a sufficient amount about what the Internet has to offer in terms of graphics and design.
