I was watching the movie Blades of Glory earlier in the day and I saw some parallels to Oedipus. Well not some parallels, only one parallel. The two antagonists, the rival ice skaters, were a brother sister team. They were very, very close to each other. I mean extremely close. I would not be surprised if one of the deleted scenes were a sex scene. I would be shocked and horrified, but not surprised.
This is the only similarity I found between the two stories. They both show incestuous acts. And I apologize for making so many points about the fact that Oedipus slept with his mother. I just find it so crazy and disgusting
