Basketball is and always be my first love. Being from New York it’s only right that I root for the New York Knicks. I’ve been playing/watching basketball ever since I came out of my mother’s womb. But the Knicks have not made the playoffs for almost 7 years! New York is supposed to be the Mecca of basketball but for the past 7 years it hasn’t looked like that at all. It’s kind of depressing watching year after year just to see another failing season.
But this year the Knicks acquired a big name player, Amare Stoudimire. Honestly I don’t think Amare will bring the Knicks to a championship or even close to it, but compared to what they used to be this has to be the biggest thing since Sprewell and Houston. All I hope is that they make the playoffs because once they’re there anything can happen, just like the ’99 Knicks where they were the 8th seed and made it to the finals but lost. But whatever all I gotta say is LETS GO KNICKS!
