Isn’t it funny how a picture can tell a thousand words? It’s also funny how nobody ever said the thousand words the picture tells are right, or wrong for that matter. I have here a picture of my grandparents on their wedding day. They look downright happy. Grandma looks pristine in her classic white lace wedding dress and grandpa seems to be glowing.
So who would have thought that three kids later they would be unhappy? Surely nobody would have guessed that four grandchildren later they would be divorced.
Next time you take a look at a picture, really look at it. Don’t try to simply see the obvious answer that is staring you in the face, but look deeper. Ask questions. Never just assume that what you see is correct.
