cultural imperialism
In terms of cultural globalization, there is danger concerning cultural imperialism. It is one of the forms of imperialism and it is concern with the culture. To illustrate, the capitalistic states try to govern and control underdeveloped countries by spreading their culture through certain trade mark of food, clothes, or movies. For example, the “Macdonalds” is the representative trade mark of food in terms of the cultural imperialism. All over the world, there are many Macdonalds stores. It is a huge fast food company not only in the United States, but also in global society. People from the different countries are having the same burger from when they are young, and they get accustomed to that brand. Therefore they accept that culture naturally. There is no doubt that they are governed by that kind of culture.
