I am like doing a count down here and finally I reach here.
Does not feel excited actually. What should I write about this blog?..
Um...I know..
To write thanks note and wishes.
So I have to thanks professor who teach us a lot of software, who asks me a lot of questions that I do not know the answer, who practice and simulate my old dead brain to think, who say things that sound ridiculously nonsense but actually mean something, who is funny and who bring us to the Tank.
I have never wrote a thanks note to any of my teachers nor professors. Yet, somehow, as I getting older and older, I feel like to write them.

In professor's eyes, they probably would not remember our names and faces after a semester. Yet, students would most likely remember them for life.
I can still remember who taught me in the elementary school. I remember their faces and names.
Do you remember any of them?

At the end, I wish everybody here would have a good life. Good lucks on all your finals. Happy X-mas!! Happy New Year Also!! lols~~

What Next...

After finish writing blogs, I have to start working on my other's class HW.
And study the only final exam that I have.
I have four days to study that final exam. I wish I will do well on it.
I want an A for that class so badly because I work really hard on it.
I pretty much do all the HW assignments by myself although they are group assignment..lols.
My friends say I am just too kind to be work as a group, because I did all the works and my partner got credits also. Actually I do not mind, as long as I can learn and I can handle it. Grade is just a factor to reflect how much you learnt. It does not necessary mean anything, except the GPA score...lols. A person get an A for a course does not necessary mean he or she learnt 100% of the course material and it does not mean he or she is smarter than a person who get C.

Whats next??

Winter break.

Spring break.

Graduate....
Good bye to college and school....

Reading others blogs

As I can see, there are others keep writing and writing blogs to reach 50 before the deadline tonite. I wonder whether or not if any one would see what other wrote on their blogs. It is kind of interesting and fun. I meant it. It is like brainstorming whatever things that come to my mind that I can just write a blog about it. Like this one.
I have a tiny weird feeling about it thro. What we are doing it likes writing our dairies on a shared book. No one would know who and when will they been read or even whether would they be read.

I visited one of the professor's previous semester's thr216 blog site before I enrolled this class. I read a couple blog entries to gain some insight about how the course run and what kind of works we need to do...I do not know any people that wrote the blogs. It is just like hearing and reading others people mind without actually knowing that person. However, somehow, I feel like through reading those blogs. We can actually know someone better in their personalities, their hobbies, etc. It is because words are the best tool to express one's truth self. We can learn better from one person's writings. What do you think?

City

No photos... so sad.
So after the show on Saturday. I walked around the city from 6 to 9:30.... carrying my heavy laptop. I was waiting for my sister's call and see what time she will be available to pick me up. Anyway, I have not been into the city quit a while. The last time I went to the city was like at the beginning of semester...well....its been a long long time.
As I told you before I am not a city person, I used to be. However, since I came to the US, I pretty much spent most of my time stay on the island. So I seems use to stay on this quiet and crowd-less place.
I should have pictures to show....
There were so many people on the street and I saw a lot of Santa Claus. Ha! Thats funny.
Although we still have one more week till Christmas, I felt Christmas already here. Have not had such feeling for so long. Thanks professor. I planned to get out of my house this Christmas and feel the crowd around me. ^v^

40

Just finished my 40 blogs.
That is a great large number for me. I cannot image myself to be 40 year old.
Where would I be? What would I do? How will my life look like?
Time is running out so fast, like us writing blogs.
Would any of us be writing blogs at our age 40? That would be fun to write.

There would be a lot of changes in our life. Would any of us writing this blogs would be end at working in the same field or same area? or would all of us be falling at every corner and direction of the world?
Actually no one would know. I do not know what I will be or doing even tomorrow.
Life changes everyday. I could only dream about my future.
At the age of 40, I will probably be married, having a few kids, taking care of my kid and working at the same time. Pretty much what most women do right?.

Feelings toward the show..

Disappointed.
First of all, I do not want to blame anybody. There are just so many limitations around the world. You cannot always expect things will work out perfect or it will work out as you expected.
My biggest disappointment is that our works do not have chance to shine out in the event. They were just running at the background of the show and with no sounds. I was happy when I saw my pieces of works were showing up there. However, who else would. I think professor was expecting this would be a great show also. However, we got time limit. We only got like 2 hours to perform and we actually split up half of the time with other class. I guess if we were given a longer period of time. Our show would be more successful. I did not have chance to experience how the interaction between the audiences and the device.
Anyway, it is still a good experience to me. It reminded me a lot of thing that I did. I was once a drama club performer also. I understand how much efforts are needed to make a successful show. Thanks to those performers and professor. You all did a good job!!

RUR show

RUR is a story about the fight between human and robot. At the end, the robot has taken oven the human being. It is quit a good story especially it was originally written in the early 20s. However, by hearing it for 50 mins reading play, instead of any visual images or video. It is very a waste of time and not worth it. I am sorry that I am being mean over here. Yet, I really do not understand why they cannot make it more fun and more interesting. It is like hearing a story from a radio. I am super disappointed for their performance. And am I wrong about the fact that those speakers are graduate student?? It would be way much better if they could turn the show into a drama or so. Instead of 50 mins speaking the play. Or is there any deeper meaning behind this, by stay speaking aloud the lines of the play. I really do not understand. Sorry, I was really disappointed...
Anyway, those performers did do a good jobs and I do appreciate their efforts to perform the show. It just that it could be done in a much better way.

Hamlet show

Hamlet is a famous piece from Shakespeare. That was what I know at the beginning of semester. Personally, I like to read. Yet, I do not read a lot. It is because I think reading is like a hobby, so only those people who have great amount of free time would be reading bookss. I can image myself holding a book and sitting on couch when I retired, but at this moment in time I just cannot.

This semester as professor strongly suggest us to read this book and for the purpose of the show. I tried to read the book. Yet, as like any other plays, as you reading play, you need to put more imagination and pictures yourself in the environment or so. So I decided to watch the movie, instead of the book. The Hamlet movie I watched was made in 1996. It was a great movie and it was long 5 hours long. I watched it during the thanksgiving break. It was very good. The actors were all great. Especially, the one who act Hamlet. I can sense and feel his madness and craziness toward the death of his father and the marriage between his mother and his uncle.
I would like to read the actually line from the book later on, when I have times.lols,
So compare the movie and the Hamlet show in the tank, I think our hamlet did a good job also. He played well, especially his looks, his expression and his word saying. He was great. Other are good also. Just the gun that hamlet holding is a bit weird. I think if he was holding a knife would fit more. I also have a little comment on the last part of the show also, the scene where two pairs of actors were arguing. It was quit confusing, coz I could not pay attention to their saying at once. I feel like it better off picture one after the other. I do not know, it is just my unprofessional opinion.

The Tank

Well, since I do not have any pictures.... >.<'
I just gonna say and try my best to describe my feelings about the tank show.
First of all, I should say I am not a city person. I spend most of my time stay on the island so I am not familiar with the city so and so. I even never watched a show nor go to a theater on Broadway. I should feel shame to tell people I from New York..lols.
So The Tank could count as my first "show" I have seen. My first impression is the place is so so small.. I was expecting it would be at least a little bit bigger. Well, it barely fits the students professor has. I also took a picture of the sign saying the maximum people it could hold is somewhere around 150... Anyway, it is a non-profit place. I am glad and appreciate them giving us the chance to show our work in there.
Although the place is small, they have quit professional equipment. Yet, I am not sure do they belong to the professor or not... they also have those lightings things on the ceiling.
Base on what I see, this place should be around there quit a bit time. I can tell although it is a small place, it has a lot of stories and shows been played in there. Many people have been sitting the same seat I was sitting, watching others' art pieces.

Where is my camera??....

I forgot to bring back my camera. OMG, I left it at home.
How could I forgot such important things. I still got 15 more blogs to write and they are due today.
Oh, no no.. If I have those pictures, I could easily finish them..
Anyway, I have to start writing. I have seen some students can finish 10+ blogs in a couple hours. I can do it too..lols.
My poor camera, I wish you could loss some weight, so I would not leave you at home.

Almost Done..

I am extremely tried right now. Did not have any good sleeps for this whole week. However, I think what I did worth it. I pretty enjoy all the classes that I am taking this semester. I think I really gain knowledges and learn something from it. After tomorrow, I will have three of my course grade settled and I only have one final left. Ya, only one final exam and it is on the last day of the exam week. What? lols.. Lucky me right. My roommate and suite-mates are all jealous about me. I am sorry if I make you jealous too, lols. Actually, I have one more program assignment and two extra credit assignment I have to finish by next week. Yet, I am confident that I am capable to finish them on time. I would like to shoot for an A for that class. ^v^
So for this class, I still have to write more and more blogs..Oh, no..
I should have write more before. However, once I am in the busy mode, I will not have any moods to write things them and record things that are memorable. I am not that kind of person like to update status and where I am about on the facebook nor twitter. Sometime, I seems like not fitting in these new trend of social media thing. I was not the first group of people having a facebook account, nor others. I used to follow the trend closely. Am I getting old??...

Making Eye candiess~

While I am waiting for the animation to be export as a movie, I decide to write another blog entry.
It says it approximately need to render up to 20 mins. I think my animation is too long again. I think I am going to edit it, crop it and make it into two or even three pieces, since professor just wants 15 secs for each piece..

When I was making the eye candy animation. I found out and I was actually pissed off by the fact that google SketchUp does not support moving animation. I was going to make a moving object animation, instead of just filming a still object at different angle. I tried a couple times. I thought I did some mistakes or I have to change the setting. Later on, I googled about it and found out it just could not be done. Some people said I can try using the layer and disable visibility of layer to do so. Yet, it sounds way too tedious and I did not have enough time, so I did not try hard to experiment with it. I am not sure whether there exist any plus-in or the pro version of sketchup support this feature. The lack of this technique really screwed my original idea. Anyway, it is a free software. What can we expect, right?..lols.

Working on Projects2~~

So for the tank show this Saturday, my job is to make six eye candy videos and each of them has to be 15 seconds long. I have been trying to get ideas for what I would like to make. Here are some of the things that I have made. I still have a lot of work to do. I have to get it done by tomorrow before class, because it is due tomorrow...>

Working on Projects~~

Rushing to do projects all days long, just want to take a small break and write some blog entries.
This is my number 31. Yes. 19 more to go~~ lols.
So yesterday was Monday and was my software engineer class's final project's due day. So I spent whole day working on that project. The project is about making a software for students to check their major requirement and for faculty to file course information and major requirement. It is quit a challenging project. It requires a very sophisticated algorithm, like it needs to take all the course prerequisite and course substitution etc into account. My team is close to finish the implementation. Yet, it still needs some improvement. I remember in our thr 216 class that Professor talks about how the technology is taking over some of the pink collar jobs. I do agree with it. Just like this project that my team is working on. Once it is proved to be correct and perfect, we can actually let the student and faculty to use it. This may possibly reduce the amount of advisers student needs because students can check whether they have reached all the major requirement on their own using their own computer.
