brainstorming

In class the other day we were asked to brainstorm ideas for a space in a hospital for kids. I think for this type of space it is important to have a very customizable room because it's very difficult for a child to understand why they are in a hospital. With the help of projections on the walls, the child could determine what atmosphere they would like in the room. Personally, when I was a kid, I liked being outside in my backyard so I would have liked to have projections of trees and nature. It would also be really awesome if the walls were touch screen, like an iPad, so that the child could feel like they are actually interacting with the environment the projections are creating. A larger scale of this room could be used as a type of "playroom" for all of the children in the hospital, so that they can all interact with each other and the technology.
