Too young

Sometimes i feel like we are to young to go out into the real world and get a job at the age of 22. going into college at the age of 18, having your life planned out with the major and occupation. I feel like it can be very over the top and a lot of stress on someone to chose. Even though in the older days people were working full time at the age of 18 or even younger, i feel like thos times were just different. For example my dad started working for the NYPD at the age of 19. That isn't even possible anymore. College should start later in a persons life, let them figure out who they really are first then go to school to become a accountant, nurse or doctor. So they dont just go to school waste time and chose something to major in because they are forced to.
