Prisoners Dilemma
The Prisoners Dilemma is when a prisoner has the choice to rat on his friend and tell the police he did it, or to believe the other person will not rat on him. You tell each prisoner the other person confessed the other did it. Having separated the prisoners, and having not enough evidence they convince each prisoner the other person said they did it and try to get to the truth. To be honest, I’d never be in this situation. I have never been arrested, or anywhere near it. I don’t do anything to cause the police to think I do or have ever done anything ever. If because of some ridiculous situation I ended up in this situation, I wouldn’t say a word. You don’t have to speak to the police. You can say nothing because you have the right to remain silent. If they say someone said I did it, they have to arrest me and charge me. After charging me I would obtain a lawyer and tell him the honest truth and go from there. I wouldn’t rat on anyone, I would wait to see what happens.
