Shakespeare said that there are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand reader’s eyes. Actually, everyone is like this. Not every one loves or hates us, and this is the biggest contradiction in our lives. We try to be good but sometimes the situation forces us to show the original humanism that be selfish or tough to people.
The idea that is human born to be good or bad is still a question because no one can explain we are actually good or bad. Some philosophers say that human are good, we are just affected by the world. So that’s why people are becoming more complex when they grow up: they know more about the rules of society, which are considered “serious games” in adults’ world. However, there are also some people insist that human are bad in nature because they society is built by human, and those bad things are created by themselves, they should never pass the buck to the society itself.
I sort of summarized the two groups’ opinions that human are born with some weakness and characters, but we desire good and we are trying to be good. Hamlet pursues happy life incipiently, and don’t you think he still want that? He just doesn’t understand how his world could be like this, so he lost his mind. I know it won’t happen, but If we all live in the world with love and happiness, the society will be much more simple.
