In plays, novels and movies, authors like telling stories happen in royalty or common people. Why does this happen? When i was watching a Hongkong movie "Twelve Night" and thought about the plays we discussed in class, the idea suddenly came to my mind.
Why do people like stories happen in royality? They are curious about the lives they haven't lived in. There are always complicated relationships and mysteries. Not like in the people, their stories must be more resounding and impressive. Audience as the people, of course want to see different stories that never happen in their world.
Why do people like stories happen in common people? They are curious about what others may do. They want to know whether their neighbors and strangers are happier or more tragic than themselves. Even though every one look similar, but different stories keep happen. It is really interesting to know other people's experience, so through these artistic works, we see those interesting stories that are bacially common but something special inside.
So, the reason is kind of curious about life.
