Being Alone

Being alone. Does that sound scary at all?
During the last weekend, I was all alone in the west apartment. All my suite mates went back to home. Leaving me alone in such a big apartment. Empty room, empty space. Should I be feeling scary at all? Well, if you ask me a couple year before, I would say yes.

Being alone, sometime would give people a sense of loneliness. Loneliness would make people think irrationally. It would make people feeling depressed. Since human being were born to live with their own species, it makes sense for those that are alone are feeling lonely.
However, human being were also born with survival skill. Living alone does not mean you have no meanings of life. On the other hand, it gives you a chance to explore things that are new, things that you never done before and things that you thought you were not able to do.

I spent my last weekend doing something that I never done before. I cooked. (Luckily, I did not burn down the building..lols) I literally never cooked before my life, except rice, instant noodles and fly egg...I was not having any chances to cook because I always have my mom and my sisters cook for me. What I cooked this weekend were green bean soup, tofu with garlic sauce and spicy potato. The first two were okay. The last one was... However, I feel very pleasant for what I done.

My point in here is that do not feel scare or lonely when you are alone. Try to do something which you never have done before. Being alone has such a benefit: you can do things that you thought of doing it million times before or you thought you were not capable of doing it. Do not let the irrational thought come into your mind when you are alone. Explore your capability!
