Frank Gehry.

I was innocently perusing the Tiffany&Co. website to find myself a Christmas present for the boyfriend to get me when I saw a weird looking set of earrings. When I clicked the info, it said "Frank Gehry, Torque hoop earrings" Interesting. Apparently he has an entire collection of jewelry with Tiffany. Funny, I disliked many of his architectural designs, but am LOVING some of this funky jewelry. I've seen that Tiffany&Co often works with other designers to collaborate on collections, but never would have expected to see Frank Gehry's name pop-up whilst shopping for jewelry. A lot of the jewelry features the bizarre shapes and forms of his buildings, however, in my opinion it translates better in jewelry form. The awkward placements and curves are elegant.
This ring is my favorite piece. The first ring shown I also love, but would never wear. It's just not my style, but I do love the crooked square around the diamond; it reminds me of abstract art. I'm really impressed and would love to have the second ring, but it has a pretty steep pricetag of $7,700. Ha, something else was like 70grand. That is some intense pricing, but the collection is seriously fabulous.
