Are Knicks for real?

As a New Yorker, I had been really disappointed about the Knicks over the last decade. I was hoping a big summer could turn things around, but it did not work out as "The Decision" turned out. I did not put any hope on the Knicks' near future. In the early season, it seemed Knicks were not going anywhere but down. But now it seems like the Knicks is coming back to the elites in the East, leading by Amar'e. Knicks is currently winning 8 in a row. Something that I had not seen in the past decade. However, I still don't want to put any hope yet, because Knicks had disappointed me for too long and too many times. Maybe if they can beat the Lakers, then it will change my mind about them.
