Audience Controlling the Show

In class we were talking about the audience and how we can get the audience more involved in the show. Professor Baldwin came up with a solution in getting the audience more involved by designing an application for a smart phone to actually control the video itself. Honestly it was pretty cool to actually see the application work on the iphone 4G and the android. With the press of a button I can control the speed of the video, let it go forward and backwards, add some visual effects, and add some beats in the video. I think this will definitely get the audience more involved as it will keep the audience busy and pay attention. This won't let the audience fall asleep as it will keep them awake and occupied as they will watch the video play and let it alter the video to their liking.
