Finals

As final time approaches, some of us question ourselves: what is the true meaning of finals? Some people say that finals are easier than midterms, while others will say the reverse. Personally, finals for me have never raised my grades, and they either don't change my grade or drop me a notch. For example in one of my classes I had 100's on the two midterms, but I got a 73 on the final and it dropped me from an A to an A-...Another time, I got 90, 88, and 90 on three of my midterms for a class and then like a 66 on the midterm, dropping me again from an A to A-...I never really find the passion to study so much for finals as I do midterms, cause there is just so much information that in the end I go "ok well, this looks like the midterms so I'll just assume I know MOST of the material" and I do some light studying and go in. This has actually worked sometimes, but not for others. This semester it looks like I'm doing that kind of mentality even when I know I shouldn't though!
