Foreign Languages.

I really wish I knew how to speak another language. I mean I studied Italian since I was in 7th grade, but I could never put a sentence together! My family is Italian so it was always spoken around me, but it was always somewhat broken. I can read it and understand it and I can hear it and understand most of it, but I cannot for the life of me have a conversation. It's such a bummer. I really think that the government should come up with some sort of microchip that gets inserted into your brain, and whenever someone is speaking a foreign language to you, subtitles will pop up that only you can see. Think about it. Sure, it would eliminate the need for learning to speak another language, but ANYONE you meet you'd be able to converse with! However, if they happen to succeed with my elaborate idea, then they'd have to make one for animals for my damn cat would understand me and stop scratching the couch...
