Hamlet Project

For this upcoming project, we've thought of twisting the storyline a bit... we thought of re-introducing "Hamlet" but in Claudius' point-of-view. Since the original play is mainly about Hamlet's story and his point of view, a change of perspective will bring a fresh opportunity for the audience to think of this play in a new mind set. Therefore, we thought of making a new name for this play and called it "Claudius" because the change of title allows the audiences to expect how the play will proceed. We thought of filming multiple videos of Claudius "vlogging" about each character and how he feels about them. It would be just like how reality shows are like where a person sits in a room vlogging with a camera and expressing/venting about other people. We also thought of having Ophelia, Hamlet and Gertrude "vlogging" about how they feel about Claudius AFTER watching Claudius' vlog and see what they have to say about his opinions and behaviors.
