The House of Games: Our Lives?

The House of Games really showed how manipulation could destroy and build people's lives from the beginning to the end. Margaret's professional side was destroyed by it, yet, another branch of her confidence, in committing crime, was reborn, when she stole that gold lighter at the end of the movie.
I am not saying that religion is a scam, but the degree that religions could take our minds away is enormous. People's lives are built on religions and destroyed by them. For instance, the Muslims, will kill and destroy to convey their degree if beliefs and to show the world that the rest are sinners. But, while they are building their self-beliefs and powers on top of themselves, the others are being destroyed by them.
The popular media of a dominant culture, would conceive certain groups as abnormal or "bad", and present them in a certain way. It would be surprising to notice how differently a same thing is portrayed through two different popular medias. For instance, nearly nothing in this world would be conceived in the same way that they are conceived as in North Korea.

This shows how much manipulations could build and break people's lives.
