House of Games Reaction to Joe Mantegna

Joe Mantegna played as Mike in the movie House of Games is pretty interesting.. .I like his kind of character and the way he fools Margaret Ford and even us as the audiences--well it sure fooled me at least. Throughout the whole entire movie, I really thought Mike really did had a thing for Margaret...though he did fooled her once in the beginning while playing poker however, I thought he gained his love that night and thought she was prettying interesting and generous about helping those who were in need of help... I guess I was wrong.. what it was--was that he was trying to test her out to see how "gullible" she can get. Mike as a character really did disappointed me in a way, how he is a con man and all... I honestly don't like a guy with that sort of personality, finding sketchy ways to find money. To be honest, I didn't really felt any pity for Mike toward the end of the movie when Margaret shot him multiple times.. I felt like he deserved the pain since all he gave Margaret toward the end was the feeling of pain and the feeling of unworthiness--however Margaret did went a little off board...
