People and Walls

Many of us now tend to be so busy with our own things that we look at everything very narrow minded and block everything else around us. Sure it makes us work harder and concentrate more, but at the cost of being less aware of things that could be of some importance on the outside. Many people become shy and can't talk freely to others unless spending more time with the person indicates comfort to them. Even meeting new people that you have no choice but to be with, such as roommates or classmates, or cousins or family members can cause many walls to be made so that these people don't affect us. Not many people are open and lively enough anymore to be willing to take the initiative because it isn't the easiest thing to do and it isn't always comfortable.
