It’s pretty crazy to think that this is what all of long island looked like a few hundred years ago. Many people don’t realize that a few thousand years before that, long island didn’t even exist. It was created when glaciers to the north melted, carrying rocks and dirt south into the sea, until a land mass was formed. Makes you realize how ephemeral everything really is.
