iRobot is much more obvious than Terminator in terms of similarity with RUR. The plot shows the robots rebelling against the humans. Yet the ending is totally different. While, in RUR, the humans are destroyed by artificially made "more intelligent" robots, in iRobot, everybody survives, because people are able to find a way to stop them. So then, the lessons are different. iRobot shows that people will always be the most intelligent ones on top of their inventions.

RUR: similar movies 2 iRobot
