Thoughts on media

Media is now such a broad category that it can't be stereotyped into a specific art, job, or major. The everyday media drives people from newspapers, to television news, to theater, to movies, to shows, to magazines, even through advertisements on merchandise. We are bombarded every single moment of our lives by multiple types of media which try and persuade us into thinking differently or looking at things differently. We are being shaped slowly by the media around us and it is very hard to ignore all of societies minions of persuasion, unless you live in the middle of a forest. Sadly humans enjoy media so much that we are engulfed by media whether it was true or false, moral or not, helpful or not. I believe media has become a weapon and a tool as well as a savior and hero. There is almost no way a human can run away from the information network established on this planet anymore.
