White collar

-“White collar jobs” When I hear that term I think of people dressed up who have to sit in offices all day to do their work. The jobs that require you to do the same, seemingly meaningless work that is so repetitive in nature that it could drive you insane. I believe in the fact that people would and should switch jobs in their lifetime. For the obvious reasons of better pay, benefits, and work, but also for a change. When doing work you do need a sense of satisfaction, especially if you aren’t concerned about the money so much. When people work white collar jobs it has either become all about the money or they are “trapped”. Trapped only in the sense of in their mind, believing that their job is the only job for them or the best job they can get. I like to think of it as fear, confusion, or ignorance that blocks you from true success.
