My final post! woo! I'd like to say, despite how much crap some people gave him in some other posts, I loved the class. I Personally dont understand the hate with how many people fit into the Tank, seriously it's not that big of a deal. I guess people will always have a stick up their ass or sand in their vagina for something though. I think Professor Baldwin should keep at it, his style was way different then anything i've ever done, and it was refreshing.

Class Refelction

I was a bit skeptical of the class my first couple weeks, I really didn't think we were going to go far in the coding aspect of it. But some of those kids in the class were crazy good with the coding and really took it to the next level. Hats off to them, they really did a sweet job making their portion of the show work

So. I can't find my remote to my TV, and this sucks since it's wall mounted it's not even easy to get up to turn it on, and I'm missing my morning fix of sports center before I can start my day. Not cool remote.

Linguistics 20something

So I just took my last final (minus the 15 page paper I havent started) in linguistics 20something. I never really cared for the class and I never really bothered studying. After I did ridiculously awesome on my midterm I just never really went to class. Well I leave that final feeling horribly violated.I'm going to go home and take shower and hopefully one day get the smell of failure off me. Puck you linguistics 20something.

My heart ripped out

So last night I had my heart ripped out of me...No my girlfriend didn't break up with me...but Cliff Lee, The same Cliff Lee the Yankees were offering 150 million fu*#ing dollars too, for pretty much seven years didn't sign with the Rangers (The other team) but with the Philadelphia Phillies. Now I still think it's a joke because who the eff saw the Phillies coming out of no where to sign cliff lee, they were never even in the discussion. Well now the Yankees are left to contend with a Red Sox team who recently got Carl Crawford and Adrian Gonzalez. Did I mention the Phillies offer was substantially less? So that's my vent.

Here's another Kinect hack which i think is awesome. It takes the kinect, attaches it to the robot to create a 3D representation of the environment. It's nut how far we've gotten in such a short amount of time with this tech, and its awesome that for once microsoft did something cool to make it opensource

scope of humanity

I Read a blog that wrote about the invention of fire being such a major turning point in human society. This got me thinking in another direction. The scope of humanity itself is pretty short compared to the life of the earth itself. Then while procrastinating on a final paper I came across this video of Richard Dawkins. R.U.R/hamlet/interaction

The second part of the performance was the R.U.R reading. I have to say, I wasn't too fond of the reading because I think it did what the the day was supposed to be against. At no time was interaction something I thought was going on. If I can use Phillips words, I felt like we were between four brick walls being force fed what was going on. And honestly as much as I thought the Hamlet play was good, in that same regard I really didn't feel the interaction with the play. I was still just a bystander, I wasn't apart of the play. I think the Hamlet Skin part really is what did the day justice, because that was something we all were apart of. We all controlled what was going on screen, and if we can go in that direction, maybe combine that tech with something like the kinect, then maybe we can realize audience interaction
