Social Networking?

Social Networking, is it really the future of all things to come? I hear it mentioned in class that it might just be. But I even watched an interview with Mark Zuckenburg where he describes it will connect the world. Will people really be finding jobs off sites like facebook. It seems so crazy. 30 years ago their werent even computer computers. And like 15 years ago their wasn't even a real internet. Now its all their is? It seems so crazy. Sometimes you just have to stand back and marvel at how things are turning out. But to be honest facebook for me is just a lame addiction and nothing more, yet. Like even as I type this I am messaging friends on facebook and checking my requests. Why do sites like this and twitter do so well. Do we need people to know what we are doing at all time? I guess people kind of do. I am not gonna lie I feel kind of informed when I see peoples news and whats going on in their lives. I gotta find more people in this class and add them on facebook.
