Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving, we almost always go to our friends house that we've been going for many years. The food this year was surprisingly good (she's not exactly the best chef) but she gave an excellent attempt at it this time I must say. The main centerpiece was not the food though, but the "unique" conversation. The daughter of the friend went on this reality show with her boyfriend this month, and they were the second couple that got booted off. She was going on for so long about the horrid conditions they endured, and how they saw nothing outside the place that they were secluded in. I was actually not that surprised to hear all of the stuff that she was saying since I know how they manipulate and dramatize EVERYTHING in reality shows, and the public feeds into it like a bait-and-switch scenerio. I thought their excuse at first why were they booted out so early was pretty funny, because "they were New Yorkers and the rest didn't like them". That's a load of BS, primarily because the daughter is a person who's really bitchy and I would not be surprised that her attitude was responsible for their early departure. Then again, the other people and producers were probably just as bad into making each episode dramatic as possible, so we cannot shift the blame on any one person.
