I wrote about Netflix on my blog after professor showed us Onibaba. Netflix is a great online streaming provider with thousands of movies available. I have used it many times because its only 10 bucks a month with unlimited watching plan. In this blog, I want to introduce Vudu. My LG LED TV has Netflix and Vudu applications. I never used Vudu before because its 5.99 per movie for 24 hours rent. But I want to post these photo because its quality is beyond my expectation. Streaming 1080p resolution at 24 frames per second, its quality is way better than Netflix. I used to rent Blueray from blockbuster but not anymore. Its quality is just blown me away. Vudu doesn't have as many titles as Netflix. Also, there is another steaming service called Hulu, which my TV doesn't have it. There are just so many streaming services that I am considering to disconnect my cable TV. The quality of this movie is way way better than these picture. I hope Vudu will provide 3D movies as well.
