Good Night and Good Luck 2 (Is Edward Murrow trustworthy?)
I think that Edward Murrow is trusted. In the movie, he is a character of trustworthy newsman. Audience loves him. While watching the movie, I thought his way of talking is very convincing. His tone of voice is low but not boring. His facial epression is also a big part. He looked at the camera directly and he seems so certain. Even though what he says may be not right, he has an ability to make people believe that he is right. He has solid opinions and thoughts and he knows how to express t in an appropriate way. Also, he is so firm about his political ideology. He defended himself well when McCarthy attacked him. Camera shots play an important role to make his characteristic. I think George Cloony used close up to make him look trustworthy. When the camera closes up Edward's face, people would know that he is doing his job right. Probably he wants to show his detailed face. He not only expresses his opinions well but he also has a firm belef. He is willing to take a risk to give right information to public. In the end, his program was dropped, he was doing his job.
