If there's no oasis in the desert, how can we bear it?

This is a part of a Korean musical . I like this phrase a lot.
Many people say that it's no use watching TV dramas or romantic movies saying that it's just a fantasy and the real world is not so nice. What they say is not wrong - maybe it's true that the fantasy world is very different from our real lives.
But that is also the reason for many people want to see the fantasy - because it is different from real world. The fantasy is not a useless thing I think. It can give us energy and power to live a happy life.
I admit that it can be also dangerous if we are so into the fantasy and never get satisfied in the real world. But I'll say it is no bad we desire a fantastic love story and have pleasure watching and reading this sort of movies and books.
