Imagining A World With Robots

After a day of a group of people reading the play RUR I had a dream about how life would be like with robots everywhere. No offense, but I had a short nap while listening to the group read RUR and just thought about living with robots and how technology involved and continues to involve. I am just amazed how much our technology have involved in my life. I can remember when I was a little child sitting in front of a huge, big television but now they are coming out with televisions the width of a book and they even came out with a 3-D t.v. Now, imagine 10 years from now, having robots to serve us food or just being around us. It will be so amazing, at first I will amit that it would be cool to have robots to do our work or do what ever we tell them to do but if the robots are beginning to look, feel, act like us than that is a red flag for me. Having a world like RUR where the robots have an actual brain and can start thinking for themselves, that will be scary. I believe we should put a limit on how many robots there can be made and how much human like qualities we should give them just to be safe. Because I wouldn't want to have World War III, Humans v.s. Robots.
