War As A Common Theme

In the play RUR and Mother Courage, war is a common theme. Both literature uses war for the benefit of someone. In Mother Courage, she used the war as a way to support her family and herself. She dealt arms to both sides of the war so she can make the most profit. In RUR, the war between the human and robot was set off as a genocide against the human race. The robot rebelled against their creators so they can take over earth. In these works, the main characters loses because of their greed. In RUR, the manager kept on denying that the robot is the future and there is nothing wrong with it so he did not stop the building or the termination of the robots. At the end he lost his life and his love to the war between the robots and the humans. In Mother Courage, she was too greedy about money and the war that she lost all three of her children because of the war. At the end, we should learn that war does nothing but kill innocent lives and we should have world peace. From this, we should stop the violence and help each other.
