Here's a video I found about the conceptualization and the production of Kinect. With the endless possibilities of Kinect application, I think it's interesting to know what's behind the technology: the skeletal tracking, the 3D camera, and the software. As a programmer myself, I caught on what one of the guys said: "It's 50% hardware, 50% software..." because it shows the amazing capabilities of a truly unified hardware and software. And it's not just that; I was surprised when different kinds of people with different occupations actually made Kinect possible.
