This is a line from Hamlet
I love it
I heard it on Everybody Loves Raymond the other day
Raymond's mother tried to debauch Raymond's wife because she was, as the title says it, protesting too much
My interpretation of the quote goes like this,
If a person, especially a girl, is very passionate against something, there may be an underlying reason behind it, and she might have an alterior motive
Maybe what she's protesting against carries no merrit whatsoever and just because she is so passionate against it doesnt mean she's right
in fact she might very well be wrong
Hell, she's PROBABLY wrong.
