Never let a man abuse you

"Never let a man take advantage of you." These are the words that my mother has told me since I was little and even to this day. They may seem like the typical words a mother might tell her daughter but they are very true. She has always told me that I have to know what Im worth and never let anyone especially a guy treat me as less than what I am. There are many guys in the world that think that women are beneath them and will treat them like property. They talk down to them and try to control them. But my mother always taught me that if anyone ever did this to me, to set them straight. I am not inferior to anyone and I deserve to be treated with respect and as an equal. God forbid any man ever comes up to me and starts treating me like trash. I think I would go crazy.

One of the most important things that my mom told me about this was "never let a man put his hands on you." This is one of the things that I would never ignore. Neither one of my parents ever hit me or my brother when we were kids or as adults. So if my own parents never did it then there is no way in hell that anyone else would have the right to do it. If a man ever hit me, I would first start swinging back and then leave him. There are many women who have been hit and stay with they guy because they say that it was an "accident" and "he didnt mean to do it." These are poor excuses because its just like everyone says "if he hits you once, he'll hit you again." I would never let myself be abused by any guy and no one else should either.
