It is easy to see water puddles during the day but at night it is difficult to distinguish water puddles, especially when it is very dark. Last night after eating midnight breakfast with my friends, we were leaving the union. When I stepped out, I stepped on a puddle. Fortunately, I stepped out of it extremely fast and my sneakes did not become wet inside. The puddle was not easy to distinguish when I was stepping out of the door. Sometimes, when you have to walk by a big area that is basically concaved, the puddle is very big and unavoidable. That is when it becomes a problem because you may have to walk on the puddle and most likely soak your shoes. I tend to hop past it if the puddle is not too large.
Some puddle are worse than others because some of them are very dirty and it leaves soil and dirt mark on the shoes. Walking with wet shoes is so disturging and it just happens sometimes.
