We discussed the movie The Social Network in class many times. I saw the movie and I thought it was pretty good. The cover of the movie reads, " You don't get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies." Facebook expanded exponentially for Mark Zuckerberg. Everything was going great until the Winklevoss twins filed a lawsuit against Mark for taking their idea and making it his personal gain. He created enemies in them. Also, the character that Justin Timberlake plays, Sean Parker, gets in on Facebook and soon receives part of the share of the company. Mark finds an enemy in his best friend as Mark decreases his friends shares, but increases Sean's shares. The movie includes a lot of drama and action.
I found the movie to be inspirational. If you look at it, anyone could have created Facebook, but Mark was just the first person to hop on it and make something out of it. The movie inspires me to come up with the new best thing. I have come up with a few ideas, but I would be a fool to share them on this blog. The movie made me feel that anything is truly possible, and with the technology we have today, there is so much that can be created in the world.
