Last blogging

Finally, this is my last blog. Wow! I always post my blog on the last day of due date. Any way I’m done with over fifty blogs and I think I learned many things in this class. I hope we are doing well on our show in the New York city on this weekend!

Mix craft

In this class, I learned how to make my own music by using mix craft program. I had really fun with that program. I wanted to post on this blog, but the music file cannot be uploaded here. It is very cool making my own music which is my favorite music style. I like music there is some beat, piano sound and so on. From this class, I learned how to make 3D space by using sketch up, mixmsp, movie maker. These programs are thing I’ve never used before. They are Cool programs!

Controversy

California’s marijuana legalization did not win a majority of votes one month ago. Marijuana is always controversial issue in America. In Korea, smoking marijuana is definitely illegal. So it is not familiar issue for me. However, when I did the research about legalization of marijuana for my research paper, I thought there are a many reasonable reasons to support it. But I’m still against the legalization of marijuana.

I do not agree with using of ‘four letter words’ in newspapers. It can be used when people emphasize what I want to say ,like we used that words a lot with friends, but it is a paper for the public, a lot of people and kids can see that words though the newspaper. That would be not good for child’s education. Instead of the words, there are a lot of words we can use, too.

brand new

It is not good that my new device cannot be always new because the device is always updated in this time, too. So I really want to get ipod touch, but somehow I think they release the new one soon. When I bought new laptop, I was considering for a long time. It’s so sad the my item cannot be always brand new one. Technology is growing so fast.

Sister Carrie

This is the book which shows the women are able to succeed in what they set their heart on. The author illustrates the hardships the women have to face not only with finding jobs but also on how men treated them in the late nineteen century. He also creates an atmosphere of how people lived at that time. It deals with controversial subject matter, the immoral intimacy through characters. Even though the book was published long time ago, this book covers interesting story.

Love and other drugs

I watched this movie during the thanksgiving break. I didn’t even know what the story is going on. I just want to see that I like the main actress, Anne Hathaway. While I was watching this movie, I was pretty surprised at why she chose that character for her. She used to act as just being nice girl. I think she wants to change her image through this movie. This movie was good by making me feel some humanity, love, and relationship.

Gain weight

These days, I feel like gain weight. The moment I hate is that my clothes fit tight when I was wearing my jean. I think I felt that feeling in this morning. These days, I’m just stuck at the chair for writing my bunch of papers. No exercise as usual. Just eat and seat for studying. I remembered that time, when I came to America at first time, I gain weight 15 pound. That time is I was the heaviest. After I got shocked because of getting weigh, I could get back to my original weigh by cutting down my food. I don’t wanna get back to that time. Time to go to diet again!

Friend

I met her when I was at high school. We were close each other, and we had good times together. After graduation, she went abroad to America. Then, I decided to go to study abroad, too. At first, I was in Las Vegas, and she was in Delaware. We kept in touch on the phone in America. But now, she is in New York City and I’m in stonybrook. So we can meet each other in the city now! We didn’t imagine that we can meet each other in the US! We went to central park, moma, good restaurants, having a good time together in New York City. How cool it is!!! Enjoying the city life with my old fiend!!

Electric Blanket

Do you have an electric blanket? If you are sensitive to the cold, you should buy this for winter, like me. But if you have this one, you cannot get out of your bed, especially for in the morning. When it gets colder these days, it makes me harder to get out of my bed in the morning. Even if the alarm was ringing several times, I just dismissed it, and stayed more in my bed because it’s so warm!! I was even awake, but I want to be there more because it’s warm! Because of this, I think I went to the class late these days. You should rethink about more if you decided to buy it.

Vegas

I love Vegas, and I miss Vegas a lot because before I transferred to this college, I was in Vegas for a year and half. I was really had a good time in there. Sometime people ask me about if there is a college in Vegas. Yes, there it is. I had a lot of good memories with my lovely friends. We could go to somewhere we want to go any time, even late night. There is 24 hour Starbucks, of course bar, pub and so on. I missed there so a lot, so I went to Vegas during the break after we started this semester. I went to there for celebrating my best friend’s birthday. We hold a big party for her, and enjoyed so much. I always miss there, and it will be the best city in my life.

Angry food

One of my friends eats carrots when she got angry. She called carrot as her ‘angry food.’ I have also angry food eating when I got stressed. I want to eat crunchy things such as pretzel, nachos, and crackers, when I got stressed. When I bite these things, I can hear the crispy sound. It makes me feel better while eating. And I think I’m kind of addicted at salty things. Sweet things can be someone’s angry food. What’s your angry food?

writing papers

Oh my god. There are so many papers I have to do. Because of that, I’ve kept writing papers about 2 weeks ago. As English is not my first language, it takes a long time for me to write a paper. But I’m not good at writing too. If I wrote my paper in Korean, it could be easier but I would have hard time writing, too. So writing papers make me get stressed a lot!

Final week

Time flies. Finally it becomes final week, plus to do a lot of things for finals. I think this semester is passed faster than before. I don’t know why. Final week is awful as there is due date for my bunch of papers. I hope I could finish these things, and would get a good grade on that later. I’ve think about what I did and I learned during this semester and realize that my graduation is coming soon.

Apps

We can do many things with smart phone due to app things, and we can save money. There is a dictionary, newspaper, book, radio and so on. We can do those things with just smart phone. Some people are worry about that as app things make our old devices disappeared. It could be, but I don’t think it will. Even though many people use the smartphones these days, they still go to book store, subscribe newspaper, and listen to the radio while driving. App is just good for killing our time.

Kinect

This machine is amazing. People can do sports and learning something like a teacher, and can be a friend, too. If we had this one, we don’t need to go outside to do these things. We can just stay at home with this amazing machine. Our life will be better with this device, but there will be no interaction with others anymore. People who use this don’t want to make friends anymore. New machines kill our social activities.
