Who are we?

Many people would say that they know who a person is when they talk to them in person. That by the way they talk to them and the stories they share that they know exactly who they are and what kind of person they are. But I dont think this is true. Many people have a tendency to hide who they really are when they are around people because they feel like they are supposed to be a certain type of person and have a certain personality in society. They put on this mask when they are out in the open because they believe that that is whats 'right' and 'acceptable.'

If you want to know what a person is really like then you have to see what they do on the internet. When you are on the computer, no one knows who you are. You can say whatever you want to say or do what you want to do. Its more 'acceptable' because no one knows who is writing what and you can be whoever you want to be. There is no one telling you that you cant do something or that its wrong. On the computer people have the right to be who they wish they could be in real life. They can take off the mask and just be themselves. So remember that when you think you know someone that may not actually be true.
