Facebook is the Devil.
The Facebook revolution is impacting young people in all types of ways. From personal experience, I've found that it brings an additional stress when it comes to relationships. Even a sense of obligation follows to update and check status', change pictures, write comments, all so that the world knows what you're up to. But what do we do this for? Why is it so important for us to know that others know about us? Is Facebook a way for those who normally wouldn't be recognized by the world to create a name for themselves and feel a sense of purpose? Its original meaning, which was to be a social network that serves as a gateway to globalization, has somehow become clouded by the desire to be seen. Game theory comes to my mind. But i wonder, by following the rules of this never-ending Facebook game, what do we win?
