Ultimately, men and women are exactly the same. We just have different levels of hormones which give us different characteristics but that's about it. So if we're so similar how come some people believe women cannot do some of the things men can. I'm sure we cannot do all things as well, I'm not as strong because of differences the ability to build muscle. But I think since women can have children... well I think that's pretty amazing, so there is something we can do that men cannot.
So what's the deal of men (and I know some that have even said it to me... God help them) thinking and saying that women cannot do some things. Who put that in their head? I bet they saw women run households and now they go to work, run households and raise children. And giving birth, if we can do that I think men should give us a little more credit. I think women can do anything men can do. But men cannot do everything that women can do. I know some men grow up with old school values but in the US especially if you were born here.. I don't think it's right for men to look down upon women at all. It doesn't matter if a woman does not have a job outside of the home, running a household and often raising children is a job in and of itself. I feel like I have to prove I'm just as good as any guy to some people, it should be expected. I have enough people that give me problems because of my age but because of my gender... that's unacceptable.
