Pokemon and gamyboy

When I was about nine years old, pokemon was aired in the U.S. and it attracted kids like a magnet pulling a metal. Pokemon is a very popular Japanese cartoon show has an international fan base. The cartoon show was like a mania and kids just could not get enough of it. Besides the popularity of the cartoon show alone, Pokemon cards and pokemon games in gameboy color and game consoles were very popular.
Back then, just like almost every kid I liked Pokemon cartoon and the games (I didn’t like the pokemon cards too much). For kids, pokemon games, the cards, and the cartoon was interesting. Most teenagers and adults did not find it appealing and many parents were surprised that their kids like to watch a cartoon where human like characters train and battle cartoon animals that eventually “evolve” into stronger/faster animals.
I lost interest in Pokemon eventually by the time I was in junior high just like most kids that lost interest in Pokemon within a few years. After I completely stopped watching Pokemon and stopped playing Pokemon games, I thought that it was fun and I enjoyed it just like all the other Pokemon fans. Looking back at what appeared to be fun and appealing about Pokemon seed so boring and dull after I entered junior high school.
