I started twitter in a few month ago. I don't have I-phone so I use my laptop to use this page.
This is no use if you have no followers -- you'll be the only one who read what you wrote.
But if you have followers, the short piece of writing you uploaded would be posted on every timeline of your followers. So it's not so nice for a private conversation between your close friends.
But it is very useful to get to know other peole who you are interested in. For example, you can be aware of what your favorite singer's doing or feeling right away he/she posts it. And also it is useful to ask many people for help or finding something/someone. It is like texting on the phone with many people paying no money. And one way to contect not only with your friends but with the strangers and also celebrities.
