Refreshing

Finally, time to sit, relax, and write some blog entries.

I have so many thoughts and ideas in my head that they jumble up with each other. It's as if my thoughts are walking around in my mind, and are tripping on each other.
There is so much to talk about certain subjects, so little subjects to talk about, and so little time to say all that I want or need to say.

So I'm taking this time to relax.
Drinking my favorite tea; chamomile tea with milk and honey.
Eating jyap chae (a korean noodle dish).
Listening to korean music.
And finally getting those jumbled up thoughts up on blogger.

And so, this is the start of a very long and continuous rant of many different topics (with many different titles).
Some personal, some not.
Some serious, some trivial.
Hopefully all will somehow tie into this class...

Future of Audience

The future of the audience, in my opinion, is going to be like everything else in this world; virtual. Technology will hit the theaters as it has done for movie. You can watch a movie without even leaving your home. The future broadway shows will be streamed virtually through the internet. Audience numbers will increase dramatically per showing, and ticket prices will drop and be more affordable. Families will be able to sit on their couch in front of their 102.4" flat screen plasma tv, and watch the production of Hamlet, or Spamalot.

There can also be fun, interactive things that the audience could possibly do. What that is, I have no idea, but it could happen.

The future of the audience has endless possibilities. One thing that I can almost guarantee, is that audiences will become mainly virtual. Life as we know it will become virtual.

society

R.U.R. is the state of society today. Artificial beings who behave as normal humans are very prominent in the world today. In my opinion it seems as if some people are “programmed” to do certain things that others tell them to do. While that is a part of life, I feel that real humans have the ability to make decisions and choices on their own without fear and pressure of public disapproval. Similar to R.U.R. the “robots” in society look and behave like real humans and it is actually not easy to tell differentiate them from humans. Also like R.U.R. I think that if left unchecked these “robots” will eventually end up taking over the world- in the sense that if you don’t behave in an artificial way you will not be able to succeed in the world. -J. inspirations

It is really easy to get inspired every day by everything around you. Artists and designers look in nature, architecture and museums. These are all very inspirational. Nature has so much to offer and its full of phi. Its almost everywhere you look in so many different forms. Architecture is basically created off of phi related things. Other people's architecture and creations greatly inspire new designs for other people. even if your not a designer you could be inspired by a certain building or design. Museums have so many interesting and inspirational things as well. There are all different forms of art, paintings and objects, even people that are considered inspirational and people pay money to go see. We don;t realize how much we are inspired by the things around us on a daily basis

I dont understand

So today i went to a greek program which was titled the minority forum hosted by the ladies of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority incorporated. This program consist of a panel of students who are on various Greek organizations on campus, the goal of the program is for people who are Greek and those who are not to come and ask questions that you have been dieing to ask. So i get to the program and the only thing i see is members of nphc which are the African American organizations and also Nalfo which are the latin base orgs. Well to make a long story short it was not anything informal about this program because all they were doing was bashing each other and saying like why this one should not step and the roots of this and that What i do not understand which is the title of my blog is why do us as in minority's especially on this campus have such a rivals it does not make any sense if anything we are the ones who need to band together because it is not many of us, all this fighting and carrying on just leads to the stereotypes which are proven to be true because of the example we are setting.
