Ideas For Hamlet skin
I have a couple of good ideas for this play one being that we should have motion sensors so that when we move the sound changes and light reflects off our body. Another idea that i had was that i thought we should have the audience controll our movements and the lighting by thier smart phones this would attract the most attention from the audience and it would the audience to be hands on.
Mask
The robots from RUR were able to win, because they had a mask on, and were never showing what they were planning to their human masters. Onibaba was able to successfully scare the young lady, because she wore a mask. Mike successfully tricked Margaret, because he had an invisible mask on. Claudius too, kept his position for at least a while, until somebody blew it away to Hamlet, because of the manipulated mask that he put on. The mask really gets you to win.
Especially in 21st century, letting others know of what you think is very critical. In the field of business, if your opponents know your plan, you might even go bankrupt. If you knew how the stockmarket was going to work, and there was no mask on top of those who owned the companies, they everybody might be rich. The mask is what gets this world going around and must be worn to be a winner.

christmas shopping
i loveeee christmas shopping. Christmas is my favorite time of the year and i love shopping all year round so its perfect. even though im broke, i like helping my mom and just being out whent here christmas decorations and christmas music is really fun and just puts everyone in a better mood. i love decorting the tree and putting up decorations too. we got a fake tree this year and i was really upset about it. we always go out and pick a regular tree together but there was no good time to do it and my dad said a fake was just so much either. i guess you can switch up traditions sometimes. at least we still got to decorate as a family. i can not wait for christmas to be here
Technology
Can you just take a second to look at this product? Just take a second. What does it look like to you? Well, its black and sort of rectangular shaped with a few camera looking things on the side of it. What if I were to tell you that this product will be the technological phenomenon of the future? This product will let you journey to virtual worlds. This product will let you play soccer with virtual people. This product will let you be anywhere in the world within the comfort of your living room. If someone were to tell me all that about ten years ago, I probably would look at them like they have five heads. Like how can a product let you do all those thing? Apparently not that is possible. It's just crazy how rapidly technology advances. It leaves me with the question, what's next?
Plot Overview
I am an international student from half way around the world, and for this winter I am going back home to see my family and friends. As I wrote about my semester, looking back at it, I was somewhat proud of myself for making some development, but somewhat disappointing because I could've been better. Just like RUR and Hamlet, its all a past and its too late to change any tragedies. It's not like I should do anything stupid like Oedipus (stabbing his eyes out) to change everything that I screwed up on, but to be happy with how things turned out to be and really TRY to learn from what I did.
Looking back at THR 104 this semester, I really should've kept up with my blog posts. I just finished 24 posts today and now, after this one, I have one more to go. But going to classes, I wore a mask, like Onibaba, and never took it off until I was back out of it. I always pretended like I knew EVERYTHING that happened and was ready. Because, the mask, is the only way that would get me the win.
Pink collar jobs
Professor Baldwin always talks about how he doesn't want us to have pink collar job. I totally agree with him. He told us about students that graduate from Yale and end up working at Starbucks. That to me sounds a but scary. It makes me think, what's going to happen to me? Am I going to graduate Stony Brook and land some awesome job at some upcoming newspaper? Or am I going to strap on a Starbucks apron and makes some lattes? Well I don't know the future so I can't really answer those questions for you. But I can tell you what I do want. Of course I want that newspaper job. I mean who wants to work at a pink collar job after they graduate college with a masters? Very few people. I mean right now in my life I do have a pink collar job because I'm a college student and that's just what we do. How many college student do you know that are already settled in a professional job? None. Because that's why we're going to college, to get those professional jobs. Hopefully. But I'm optimistic. Not unrealistic. Optimistic and realistic, I think that's a good combination. I'm going to do what Professor Baldwin told us to do. I'm going to 'think outside the box'. I'm going to start getting more creative and innovative in my major. Take some risks. Create some new ideas. That's the direction that I think most successful people go in.
Looking back on this semester
Now that I've come down to last three blog posts, I want to look back at my semester. My first two semester of college (my freshmen year) was based on parties and meaningless waste of time. I missed nearly every class paying this institution about $24000 a year (international student). I did not spend time doing anything recreational, such as sports, getting no benefits from school environment. After the summer, of reconstruction of self, I made some major changes to myself for this semester.
I went to pretty much all my classes, found a healthier life than the first two semesters of my college years. Yet, there are still some changes that I could not make, which are the preparation of classes "BEFOREHAND". I always had to cram for exams and finals even in this semester and that nature just does not seem to change. Maybe people really do NOT change even when they know what is wrong...
THANK YOU PROFESSOR BALDWIN
I am done with all the blogs. So, the 50th blog I dedicate to Professor Baldwin.
Thanks for the great classes over the entire semester. I learned lot of new things about dramas and their importance and survival in modern world. I always enjoyed reading the old dramas but never really understood their place in current world. Now, I know how we can flourish these classical priceless plays. I like the way you organize the class. It never turns boring like some other arts classes where the professor keeps talking and talking.
I also like to thank all the fellas in the class. It was a good participation over all. We had very good discussions. Since it was a diverse class we found out what everyone thinks. Also, there were moments of arguments, but its all part and parcel of the game. The highest points of the class were the game that we played, its aftermath and also the tank performance. Overall it was a great class.
Thanks a lot everyone.
PS: Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.

Professor Baldwin Enthusiasm
This is my favorite class by far because he makes the class so interesting and he teaches every class with such enthusiasm. I feel like he is great at getting an persons attention and keeping it "FACE TIME". Thank you for giving me a chance to preform on broadway once again it was an amazing experience. I had a good time being your Colleague it was an honor working with you
iPad and Galaxy Tab
All the companies that make touch screen products such as cellphones or tablets seem to target their competition against Apple. Since after Apple came up with the famous iPad, Samsung now designed Galaxy Tab. As the product is very new, it is hard to tell which is better and which is not, but here are my expectations.
As the iPhone did, the Apple products will almost always have a higher quality of screen and video. That is nearly undeniable. Yet, the apple products lacked the ability to 'customize' the main screens. Samsung Galaxy products allows customers to switch around and decorate their main pages in many ways that they desire to, yet the iPhone never had that. For the screen sensitivity, they should be about the same, yet Samsung one had a faster screen scroll. Applications are of course going to be very different. Galaxy products always used android applications. Yet, as they plan on transferring a lot of Apple applications, they should be open with a lot more applications.
Which is better? I can't tell. Yet without any further developments, I guess I'd go for the iPad.
Jets
Well last week the jets got embaressed by the Patriots. I was not expectingt he game to turn out like that at all. They beat the Patriots earlier in the season so i didn't think they would get murdered. They weren't playing like themselves this week either. I know it was raining so it was difficult to hold on to the ball and that definitely showed through their offense. They just couldnt get into the endzone. Hopefully they step it off soon becase their season was going so strong. I was a giants fa but lately i've been leaning towards the jets. They have been way more ineresting to watch

important thing in the age of globalization
What is an important point in terms of globalization is that, the role of multinational corporations and international organizations is becoming significant these days, and they have to carry out their responsibility to the fullest. Also the multinational corporations and international organizations are the new performers in current society. Not only that, there is the demands of the times of social, and political challenge concerned with the idea of neoliberal that consider market oriented and competitiveness very important thing. And we have to take a look and be concerned about the connection between the globalization and democracy. As the globalization decreases the power of independent state, the concentration of national power to the center of own country is relieved. Therefore, the citizen can raise their voice, and people are making different voices from each other. So it makes a positive effect to the democracy.
Soap Operas and Modern World
When you ask a young kid about shows like "Sex and the City", "Sopranos", or "Gray's Anatomy" their ears will sprung up. They will start paying attention the moment they hear these names. But, when asked about 'Hamlet', 'Ceasar', 'Oedipus', or 'Antony', their faces will loose all the charm. They no longer interested in all this highly valuable dramas. They price the daily soaps more than the classical dramas. They dont understand that all these soaps are loosely based on the classics. It is a matter of shame. Really disappoints me. Because one doesnt learn much from these soaps.
So, who is to blame for all this mess? I think it is society, media, tv show producers etc who are responsible for this decline. The whole society promotes the modern soap operas. And, obviously the content in these soap operas corrupt youth minds. Hence, they dont like the old classics. So we need to change the system. I am not completely against the soap operas. The content need to be censored a little. They should be more based on the reality and practicality than superficial stuff. People shoud learn good things from these operas. If not then these soaps need to be washed and replaced by the original stuff.

globalization and the environment
As the globalization become accelerate, the discussion of the environment matter that is one of the essential issues of our living condition is arising an important matter. As a result, many countries become involved in the discussion concerned about our environment such as ecology and sustainable development. Also each country is thinking about their policy about environment in relation with other countries. In other words, many countries become cooperation and depend on each other in discussing the policy about the environment by the globalization.

Hamlet: Damn! This is harder than I thought. I dunno how am I gonna pass this Theatre class. I am sooooooo behind on those blogs. I still can’t get the hang of this TECHNOLOGY thing. But, I’ll catch up hopefully.
Freud: So tell us Hamlet, why exactly did u wander off from Ophelia?
Hamlet: Well, honestly she wasn’t that good. No offense. As you know I went to England, and the English girls are very artistic.
Freud: Speaking of artistic women, how did u feel when you found out about yer mother’s marriage to yer dear Uncle Claudius? What is it like having to call yer Uncle - - Daddy.
Hamlet: I don think Im into that kinda art. I wonder why mom chose a loser like him. She downgraded from a hero to a zero.
Freud: Why u think your uncle was a loser? I felt he was a (uh-uh) gentlemen.
Hamlet: Oh yeah, u really think so dude. Well he did what a loser does. He was a good-for-nothing. He knew he knew he couldn’t get to the top so he had to take my father out.
Freud: What makes you believe that he whacked your father?
Hamlet: My good pal Shakespeare says so and I have some classified proof which the FBI gave me.
Freud:
Freud: Okay, good enough. Well, that’s all the time we have folks, we’re going to go on a quick commercial break, but stick around.. next person up to give us her side of this frayed love story is Ophelia.
(pause) jerry springer or maury
Freud: Welcome back ladies and gents to our special edition Shakespeare Shore reunion show! Now joining us to give us the insider scoop on the break-up of the 16th Century is Ophelia! (Applause)
Freud: How you feeling? How have u been doing since the end of the Shakespeare Shore? Is it true that what tabloids said that your break-up with lover boy over there ruined yer life?
OPH: Hell no, I hate these Media mongerers. They just make up a whole bunch of stories to get people’s money. All those damn people need to get a life. I’ve been doing pretty decent since my break-up. As a matter of fact, I’m going out on a date with Michael Jackson tomorrow night. People say he likes thrillers.
Freud: Ahem Ahem what a change from Hamlet to MJ!! What do you feel about yer relationship with Hamlet before yer break-up?
OPH: It was a typical ivy-league fling. I thought he s a real prince but I found out he aint that good. So, I started search for alternatives. And let me tell you, I’ve got options.
Freud: So how are you coping with the fact that you’re NOT a virgin anymore? Musta been pretty rough…right?
OPH: At first I was so depressed, I didn’t take shower for two weeks. But now after watching a whole season of Sex and the City, I’m proud and the rest of these village girls better step up.
Freud: Okayz Ophelia so what will be your message to all the teenage girls of 21st Century?
OPH: Hmmm, now that’s a tough one. I think I would have to say don’t let any man hold you down! Just because he’s got an Ivy-league education and some good looks doesn’t mean shit! Use you’re time to have fun and take care of yourself.
Freud: Alright all the girls out there, hope you heard what Ophelia said. And remember, if you like it you better put a ring on it.
Thanks a lot Ophelia for giving us yer precious time.
Freud: Next up we gonna bring the Alpha-Male of Ancient Greece- Oedipus.
Oedipus, welcome to the show. How you feeling? How did the lasik eye surgery go? You got those nice blue German eyes.
Oedipus: Haha very funny. It was a great success. I can see so good, that I can see through people, you know what I mean!!!!
Freud: Some people consider you as a demi-god. And to others you are hypocrite. So what is yer take on that?
Oedipus: Alright to straight things up, to everyone who thinks Im a hypocrite, cant they cut a guy some slack. I was just a victim of bad luck. Which I can see everyone is going through in this recession.
Freud: As we all know that indirectly you were the ultimate sinner for the city of Thebes. You brought trouble just by yer sheer bad luck. Even the blind prophet could see the obvious. So, why were you blind to all these things?
Oedipus: My intentions were only for the goodwill of the people. I never harmed a single Thebes citizen. So, you cant brand me as an egoistic power hungry jerk this time. I did what was right and for the good of Thebes.
Freud: So you trying to say you were blinded for the goodwill of Thebes? U sure! Or were you blinded by love?
Oedipus: I am warning you don’t wanna gonna down that path. You don’t know what you getting yourself into.
Freud: What was the better outcome of killing yer father? Becoming the king of Thebes or . . . .. .
Oedipus [Mad]: Wait right there, don even dare say anything about my mother.
Freud: Ooooo touchy subject. U mad for your wife or your mother?
(OEDIPUS ATTACKS FREUD)
Announcer from the back: Somebody call 911. Also, we need another host as our current host isn’t in the shape of continuing. Anybody interested? We guarantee that such an incidence wont happen again.
Okay we have someone to host this show. Wait, just for a sec, is that Hamlet?
Hamlet: Yo yo yo I feel so good to be the host. Now, I can fire the bullets. Bring it on who’s left.
Jocasta: How could you forget about me Hamlet. Oh! I see Ophelia is still amongst the audience. Don’t worry she aint gonna know about us.
Hamlet: Chill hun Chill. Don’t raise the temperature. The Onion News just gave you the title of being the Cougar of the millennium. How does that make you feel?
Jocasta: Are you serious???? I am on top of the world after getting this award. Well you know I gave my best so I deserved it.
Hamlet: So, you don’t regret what you did?
Jocasta: Well, at the time NO. Now, looking at it I think it was one of my biggest mistakes.
Hamlet: Yeah its look down upon in most of the world, incest is not cute.
Jocasta: Oh Hamlet, you blaming me for something that I didn’t know.
Hamlet: You know they always say the bond between mother and son is unbreakable. So, never during the years you felt that the person next to you was your son?
Jocasta: Do you know how long its been? I never felt that he was my son. Had I, I would’ve never done what I did.
Hamlet: So honestly you enjoyed the years or no? I mean you had some fun?
Oedipus: Dude I am still here. Better be careful.
Hamlet: Ooops sorry sorry seems like we have to end the show now. I don’t want to walk to the same hospital that Freud walked to.
So, it was great having you all here. Hope you all enjoyed. Drive home safely. If you got any booze leave it for me. Don’t drink and drive.

city
i love the city and i will go down there any chance i get. its a perfect time for going down to see the tree and christmas decorations. i love being in the city around christmas time, it is definitely one of my favorite times to visit. there
is just so many people and so much stuff to do down there. It is never dead in the city especially around this time. you can go shopping or explore all the christmas stuff they have available. i really want to go ice skating under the tree but its always such a long wait and really exoensive but i will do it one day. Its so lively all the time that living here would probably be fun but a huge adjustment

Patriarchy to Matriachy?
While studying for my sociology finals, I went by the terms, Patriarchy and Matriachy. Later, I came to think that the society has been turning more and more Matriarchan. Despite the fact that Margaret is violated and scammed-against by group of males, her success shows the female gender's development in society. That shows a clear contrast from all the other plays that were set in old times, such as Hamlet, where women play insignificant social roles.
The context does not only related to our text but also to our cultures. Especially, when you look at the Korean culture, or even American culture, where there are national leaders at the high positions, such as Sarah Palin or Hilary Clinton, you can see that it is changing pretty rapidly. It is still male dominated, and the solution is still "turn to our fathers" but now it is slowly changing.

the mall
the way the mall is step up is the perfect order in with us females like to shop the clothing store first in a line that follows the shoe store and then ice cream shop and across from the clotheing store are usely store like victoria secret. All the store really need in one section of the mall makes shopping much easier for female. I also noticed that ther are less male targeting store in the mall, most store target females and children.
The influence of globalization to the politic aspect
The influence of globalization to the politic aspect is that, the subordination of each other is deeper and deeper all around the world. Therefore it is natural that the domestic policy instruments loss its power. In other words, the globalizaiton incapacitates the policy instruments in own countries. To illustrate, government is depend on the international organization rather than their own organization such as United Nations (UN), European Union (EU), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), World Health Organization (WHO), the International Trade Organization, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the International Civil Aviation Organization, Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Council of Europe (CoE), and so on.
The House of Games and all the Youtube thoughts about illuminati
I was on youtube the other day, and found multiples of clips talking about illuminati and conspiracy theories. The videos showed celebrities such as Jay-z, LeBron James and Kanye West, and said that they've been lying and tricking people into their demon worship. Most importantly, they emphasized the fact that everybody is being tricked and will regret in the end, when the truth is revealed. This was just like The House of Games.
Margaret, throughout the whole movie, supported Mike and was tricked. She never knew until she found out for herself. When she found out, she was destroyed, and devastated. Now, if illuminati theory is true, how devastated will we be by Jay-z and others' plans?
The economic dependency
The economic dependency among the countries all around the world is become intensified. Almost all countries are connected each other in terms of economy system. According to the site “http://blog.naver.com/dksxoffod1/10071036722”, the economic condition in own countries is depend on global economic cycle. Therefore, the sovereign power of each country becomes weaker. Then the government losses its own power, and they cannot control the flow of the economy in that country.
Also it says, there are several opinions about the positive side of the economic and politic globalization. The first one is that, as the dependency of each other is deeper, the conflict in the global relationship would be ease than before.
