christmas shopping

i loveeee christmas shopping. Christmas is my favorite time of the year and i love shopping all year round so its perfect. even though im broke, i like helping my mom and just being out whent here christmas decorations and christmas music is really fun and just puts everyone in a better mood. i love decorting the tree and putting up decorations too. we got a fake tree this year and i was really upset about it. we always go out and pick a regular tree together but there was no good time to do it and my dad said a fake was just so much either. i guess you can switch up traditions sometimes. at least we still got to decorate as a family. i can not wait for christmas to be here

I Have a Dilemma... (Part 2)

What better way to ruin a good friendship with someone than to have feelings for them?
I really don't want to ruin the friendship that made with my friend, but it's starting to get really awkward for me to be around him.

And the problem is that I used to hang out with him almost every day last year, but this semester, I rarely see him or spend time with him without it having to do with any of our classes.
To make things worse, my friends are constantly telling me how much he misses me and that I should be spending more time with him because I'm one of the only close friends that he has...

Talk about pressure.

I wish I could hang out with him more... but all of my classes call for a lot of attention and studying.
I absolutely CAN NOT be distracted right now...
I NEED to study more.
I usually go to the library for about 3-8 hours a day, but still, that isn't enough for all of my classes.

What's more is that my friend is pushing me to study for one of our classes with him, and he and I know that I absolutely can not study with him.
He gets distracted so easily, and I am the type of person that can only study with complete silence.
He can not study in the library, and I can only study in the library.

Sigh... I really hope that what I fear doesn't come true...

Changing Audience

As the audience changes the performance must change as well. What worked in the old days may not be suitable now. Where an audience member can sit back and watch a long, drawn out play would leave them empty. Nowadays the audience needs to be enticed, aroused, and drawn in to the performance. The main difference between the present and past audience is the focus. With technology advancing and being used more than ever, a person’s focus is very diverse. To maintain an audience focus on the play or performance itself, it has to adapt and appeal to the audience’s nature and interest. If applications and mobile devices are the audience’s main focus, then the performance must incorporate these elements into its piece-J. Ramsey

Plucking Strings

There are some things that get me all riled up, or stressed out. I have never been they type of person to ever let out my anger and frustration, so what I enjoy doing best is playing guitar. I have only played for two years now, but I believe I am making some progress. I originally wanted to start playing guitar to impress my ex-girlfriend. Before, I even got my guitar, we broke up. Maybe she had a dream on how bad I would be when I started out or something.

Anyways, once I began to play, I instantly loved it. It is not the easiest instrument in the world. In fact, it is quite difficult. I have never had formal lessons, and I have taught myself everything I know. But it is something that I have developed a significant passion for, and will continue to keep playing for as long as my fingers will let me go. The next step would be to be able to sing and play at the same time. However, I think i should work on my voice first. I break glass as it is. One of my friends told me that I had one of the worst voices he has ever heard. I took it as a compliment.
