The Town

I recently watched this movie and thought it was great. I did not expect much from this movie, but it turned out pretty good. It's about the city of Charlestown and how that city has the most bank and armored truck compared to around the world. A group of four guys rob a bank all in masks and escape with loads of cash. However, they take hostage one of the witnesses and she reports the kidnap to the police. Afraid of what could happen, one of the robbers decides to take care of the situation. He ends up getting to know the hostage and the two end up in a relationship. She does not know that the guy she is with took her hostage, but she later does find out. The ending to the movie is pretty sick. Im not going to give anything away, so you should watch this movie!

Kinect

I just want to say out loud that: I love the kinect very much. It is coolest thing to have with 150 dollars. The moment I saw its capabilities, I was shocked. Microsoft finally did it, they found the way to connect human and machine. Forget about controllers, keyboard or mouse,we are human and therefor we are lazy. Let's cut those middle guys and go straight ahead using our body to interact with the laptop.

Mixing of 2 videos

Here's my first Max/MSP texture application. I used the one that mixes 2 videos and gives you control how much they overlap each other. The second video is fun because I managed to find two videos that create the (almost) perfect illusion of a person walking on a pedestrian. I'm still surprised how I recorded the videos in perfect angle with each other not thinking of applying it like this.
