The Tank
Today me and my girlfriend went to the tank to watch the show and videos. I was surprised to see so many students and people at the tank to view our works. I wish that the tank was alittle bit bigger so it can accomadate everyone because people had to sit on the floor, steps, stage, etc. I liked the setup of the tank as three projectors were set up to show three different videos at the same time. The first act of Hamlet was great as the actors showed great emotions and I can see that they put alot of time and effort in the performance. I was waiting for the rap song about Hamlet but sadly there was no time for them to perform. I think the song would have been a great hit as I heard my classmate practice it during class. Overall I believe this show was a success and I had a lot of fun.

busy busy busy
Today is seriously going to be such a busy day. It's the last week of classes and Cassie and I still have to find a skirt for her before rehearsal among other things. I have this class, then me, Cassie, Kevin and Sid are all going to our last lunch today, and we all agreed to dress nice (which means no ufc clothing or sweatpants). After that i have to run home and feed my dog and le her out, come back get Cassie when she' s done with her test and go look for her skirt, and then come back to sbu for rehearsal so we can decide on the makeup/hair/ final choices for the final project. I really don't think I'll be home for about 10 hours except for the 5 minutes it takes to let my dog out. All the running around is really just so exhausting, plus I have to study when I get home for my finals next week. I'm really curious to see how this whole final project is going to come together and if we're actually going to be able to get a lot of people to come. Anyway, I hope it gets a little bit warmer for Saturday because it is FREEZING outside right now and I'm definitely not looking forward to a 10/12 block hike through the city in this weather. ugh.

Hamlet Project
News is something that affects everyone, and this seems to prove true as we work on our projects. The news reports on the Hamlet projects are intriguing, and add a bit more mystery to the famous Shakespearian play. Numerous times within our presentation, the audience is left not only wondering what will happen next, but also laughing. We added a sarcastic twist to the project in hopes of lightening the mood a bit in the dramatic play. As we continue to work on it, we constantly keep the audience in mind and hope that they will enjoy what we have prepared for them.
