University cafe

So last night my friends and I tore up the University Cafe. Was a very interesting evening. Usually the night starts off at 11 but last night the crowd arrived at 10. This forced us to start truly DJn earlier instead of messing around. We were able to keep the crowd alive and dancen till our speakers over heated and had to pause the music for 20 min or so, after which we restarted and kept going hard till about 115 ish.

The thing that was interesting the whole night was that while the music was going loud and uninterrupted no one came up to me and requested music. Since it is several DJs messing around with me I never have to worry about being interrupted because they take requests while I am working. Yesterday though we had no one ask for anything to out their till like 1 am. We play Electronic Dance music, which is if you dont know is trance, house, minimal and other electronica.

It is a shame that University Cafe is not a legit club/bar because we were able to pack out the whole place and even form a line around the corner of the Union by 11 pm. Something that usually happens on Halloween. We dont get paid at all, so we are able to experiment with the music we play with. This freedom allows us the opportunity to show people that come to Ucafe new and foreign music. Whoever DJs does get drinks on the house but none of us take advantage of that.

If you are interested in having a fun time on campus and you are 21+ come on out. You will hear some music you could only experience in the city or other parts of the world!

Guam

Guam is a tropical island in the Pacific Ocean. It is part of the Marianas Island chain and also a U.S. territory. It has beautiful beaches and views. It is a paradise for tourist. Guam has gone through much history from Spansh colonization to Japanese occupation during WWII. Later after the war, it became a U.S. territory. Now it is a tourist island for Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, and many other countries. I know somebody who's Korean come from there, and he told me that to vist there, it is a paradise, but to live there, it is like a prison in the ocean after 15 year of living there.

College

College is another level of education after high school. Regarded as the final level of education, college is to make the students learn their preferred major so that they can go out in the world and become the people they wish to be. The education level gets very high and also competitive, because if you think about it, your future could be on the line. But also one can think of college as a free place for the students as one can experience freedom from parents, it is like a mother bird sending out its chicks out into a whole new world. And through college and its life, one will be able to go out into the world more ready.

Watch

Watch is a timepiece that you wear on your wrist. The main purpose of the watch is of couse to acknowledge the time. However, people use this invention for various purpose not only for its main purpose but furthermore in fashion as well.

There are a lot of kinds, such as pocket watch, electronic watch and etc.

Jump rope

Jump rope is one of the best cardio excerise. It is said that if one does 1000 a day, then one would be extremely fit. When I was younger, I used to do about 500 a day. Somehow, I think that has helped me alot, because, it has kept me fit and limber. This has helped me in multiple sports like soccer and football. Somehow if you think about it, such a simple item is such a great invention. So I think that simplicity also contributes to results, so for future reference, one should keep that in mind for progress.

Cigarette

Cigarette is a roll of cut tobacco in a thin piece of paper. People smoke becuase of various reasons such as it gives you a satisfaction, just for the taste or they are addicted to it. However, smoking cigarette might cause serious damages on your body. and the smokers most likely have more possiblity to have a cancer.

I am a smoker, so I just looked up what cigarette is made of. It is almost poison to our body.
Once I found out all the bad things that the cigarette gives, those facts just made me want to quit smoking.

Does milk really make you grow taller?

Milk is not really something that makes you grow taller. It's known to be harmful if you drink too much. It is a moderate source of calcium, but there is much better source of calcium out there. Also, studies indicated that excessive drinking of milk can help cancer to grow, so that is another thing that people should watch out for. So many people are tricked to believe that drinking milk will help people grow but in the end, its not really true.

Lotto

Lottery is pretty much gambling by pulling out lots. One bets money, and later on when they pull out the lots, you see if you get the right number. Lots of people like to do lotto, because psychologically, they push their luck, but as gambling is, you lose more often then you win. Sometimes, you might not even win at all. Why gambling is such a biggie, is only because most humans always try to get the easy way of gaining things. Many countries also use this form of gambling to slowly hustle in money.

Table Tennis (Ping Pong)

Table tennis or ping pong as it is also referred to, is a sport created in Britan created in the 1800s. It is a recreational sport where one plays in a small wooden board, divided into 4 squares. It is played with a small wooden paddle and a small plastic ball. It is similar to tennis, but also a whole lot different. There were many table tennis "booms" around the world. Famous places were in China and Korea, where the two countries would build huge buildings, just for the use of table tennis. These buildings would be about the size of a football stadium. Table tennis is such a established sport in the world.

Tennis

Tennis....an ancient sport that is said to exist since the 12th century. It was regarded as "the sport of kings", because it was a sport that most royalty played often and was very popular. But later as the years pased, it became a more evident sport to the public. Now in the modern era, it is one of the most played recreational sport. First stated off as lawn tennis, became more evolved as there were clay and hard court incorporation. Nowadays, there is also improvement in the racquet and string technology. Truly, it is one of the most evolved sport in the world.

What...My 25th post!!

What should I write about? It is 3:00 am in the morning already and I am still up and writing my 25th post. Yeah!!
I just took a shower not long ago because I just came back to my dorm from computer science building at 2...I was meeting with my group mates for one of the projects that is due next Tuesday. Actually, I am quit tired already since I only slept for four hours the night before. I am going to turn into a panda again, two big dark circles under my eyes. Yet, I still needed to finish all my postings. It is my works and my responsibilities. Originally, I should able to finish it on time. However, there was a fire drill in my building before and I had to rush to meet my group mates. So sorry for the delay!!!
I have plenty of topics that I would like to talk about on this blogger. I always have a list of things I would like to tell and share with all. However, when I write serious, it usually takes for like an hour for me to finish. I am still not good at writing and pronunciation after all these years I spent and learn in the US. Sometime I am quit ashame of my weakness.
Now, I think I really need to sleep right now. I can feeling like my eyes are falling
down.....Gd night...

Job interview Next Tue

I just want to share this good news to everybody. I am just lucky enough to have a job interview next week. God bless me!!!
The company that I am going to interview is a small company that mainly construct home furniture and they are hiring a graphic designer.
Umm... graphic design...I actually never consider myself us a very artistic person. My drawings were never admired by the others...poorly.
Thanks for the graphic design software that we have these days. They help people who like me does not even able to draw a straight line right. Haha! I just kidding. I can draw a straight line with a ruler of cause. lols.
So actually I am quit nervous about this interview. It is my first interview that I have in my life. I need to prepare myself well before I go.
It would be great if I would have this opportunities to work with them. First of all, I am jobless now. I need $$ badly. Secondly, they would hire me as a part time now till I graduate and they would be offer me a full time job after I graduate. Sound great for me! Thirdly, the company locates so near by my house. It just need a 15 mins drive.

Four weeks havent been home..

These past four weeks, I have been staying in school and doing tons and tons of projects. I am taking five courses this semester. All of them have projects to do. Most of them are group project, so I have spent so many time meeting with my group mate. In average, I think I have almost two projects due in a way... That I think it too much. As a result I am thinking to withdraw one of my class. That class is a 400 level class. I actually have so much interest for that class. However, I really do not have enough time for study its materials. Sadly! I do not want to take my GPA at a risk again.
This is my last year of college. In fact, I could be so free from works since I have already finished most of my course I need to take. Actually, I could able to graduate this semester if I wanted. It is because I only need to take two major courses and two DEC classes. Yet, I was just too "foolish" as my friends said. My purpose of it is that I would like to get more knowledge from my four year of college. I do not want to just full fill what the "requirements" ask us to do. I want to get more than just a piece of paper for my four year. So I will not regret.
I actually quit enjoy. Am I crazy?? lols

This video is not the best that I could make. It is because I was so busy the past few week. I did not have enough time to finish it. Hopefully, I would be able to make it much better. They are mostly picture that I edited by using photoshop. I think I could do much better work if I have more time...>.< The ideas that I originally decide has more details and scenes. I would keep work on it later on. The music in the background is from a couple clips that I found online. I used the Audacity to edit it. Being honest with all of you, I have zero knowledge of music. sketchup, finally it's working.

here's my museum, i finally got it to not be all blurry. This took me FOREVER to get right and to arrange everything I wanted, especially trying to get all the pictures to fit on the circular walls. I think it looks really cool, and I really liked the colors and intersections of the walls. If anyone has any suggestion, let me know...

ebay

Today in class we were talking about the ridiculous things people put on ebay. I went and looked on ebay and found a pair of "diamond encrusted fake nails" selling for 5,000. Seriously? It amazes me what people get away with lately. There was an article a couple months ago about a man who believed he bought the body of bigfoot on ebay. Someone else was trying to sell a water bottle Justin Beiber supposedly drank from for $500. The crazy thing is, I don't doubt someone will actually buy it. For every crazy thing on the internet being sold, there's definitely a person out there equally strange enough to buy whatever is being sold. With all the creativity in the world, and the sheer amount of people, there's always going to be a demand for the strange and unusual in order to escape from the pressures of the normalizing structures of society. It's too bad though that there are so many scam artists trying to take advantage of these people. At least 1/3 of the things on craigslist and ebay are not authentic and merely bait for unsuspecting and trusting people.
